Hi! I’m Jackie. Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, I grew up loving mushrooms and would cook with them as often as I could. Little did I know I was eating one of the most fascinating and best tasting superfoods on the planet.
Fast-forward a bit, and I’ve been mushroom foraging for 20 years and cultivating for 3 years. I consider myself an amateur mycologist, and my role models include Paul Stamets and Michael Pollan.
After my family watched the hit Netflix documentary Fantastic Fungi, the whole family got involved! They simply love how mushrooms are so interesting (and tasty!).
It was at this point I created this site.
It’s my goal for Mushroom Flow to be the best guide on mushrooms whether you want to forage, cultivate, or cook!
